Cancer Compatibility: Only A Figment Of My Imagination

The harsh reality of cancer compatibility with any zodiac seems like a figment of my imagination. Now, that doesn’t mean you won’t be loved. As I keep saying, love is not enough to keep two people together.

You need so much more than love to make it together year after year – and by ‘more,’ I mean compatibility. I also believe that we tend to put too much faith in zodiac signs when we meet someone for the first time. And there’s this vibe in the air.

If you are a zodiac girlie like I am, then chances are you read your horoscope even when you are worried about a review meeting at work. But I am also telling you not to put too much faith in zodiacs when it comes to relationships. So, my boyfriend’s zodiac is Aquarius, and he doesn’t care (or believe) in zodiacs.

However, when we had just met, I was obsessed with the stars. Unfortunately, every blog on the internet told me that cancer wasn’t a compatible match for Aquarius. I was worried, but it’s been nearly five years since then – we are still together, and I think he is my soulmate.

Of course, we have our share of disagreements, but that doesn’t mean we are not compatible. So, the blogs didn’t get that right. This incident shook my belief in zodiacs, but that hasn’t stopped me from checking it out every other day. I mean, I feel cancerians aren’t compatible with anyone, really!

And that brings me to the topic at hand today! I am going to tell you about cancer compatibility – what authority blogs on the web are saying and the reality of the situation.

Cancer Compatibility: The World Wide Web’s Take!

Cancer Compatibility

To remember the old joke: What can two cancers can possibly bring to the second date? A U-Haul!

Cancer is the nester of the zodiac, and I am already setting up a home with cozy furniture, eclectic art, a fully stocked kitchen, and a hand-wired sound system.

You are sensitive and nurturing, and you can make anyone feel safe with your thoughtful care. With your love of culture, it is only normal to have room for your romance novels, movies, and music.

I get it!

I might as well build a treasure trove of nostalgia and a lovey-dovey family, chances are I’ll become too insular with another cancer. Perhaps that is why I decided to push myself so that I could leave my comfortable crab shell and take risks.

After all, you are ruled by the constantly changing moon, and on most days, your mood fluctuates. Imagine being with another cancer – those changing moods are bound to clash.

After all, on the bad days, all that pent-up emotion under a single roof is going to mean lots of sulking, screamed results and slammed doors. We DO take everything out there personally, and those goddamn insecurities always end up instigating the crazy inside us.

So, cancer + cancer is not always the best idea, as per the digital astrologers out there. But it’s not the worst zodiac sign to be with, obviously. Yes, there’s worse.

Anyway, here are the best to worst zodiac signs for Cancerians, ranked!

Cancer Compatibility: Zodiacs Ranked!

Here’s the ranking you have been looking for!

Cancer Compatibility Is A Figment Of Your Imagination: Here’s Why!

Like I said at the very beginning, I feel I am not compatible with any zodiac sign. I am way too sensitive, and I know fellow Pisceans can understand what I am trying to say. Rather, all the water signs out there know what I am trying to talk about!

But that’s the thing! I don’t want to be with a water sign – I want some adventure in life and someone who is a little different. Yes, that is precisely why I have never dated a water sign, and I have realized that compatibility for me is a myth.

No matter how much my partner loves me, he loses his patience with me because everything in the world affects me. So, now you will ask why I am not dating a water sign. But the thing is, all three water signs (Scorpio, Pisces, and Cancer) are so freaking similar that it’s almost like dating yourself. And nobody wants to date themselves!

At times, I sit and wonder: why do so many things impact me?

When I fight with my partner, I am the one crying for hours. And not just my partner – I have cried over friends who wronged me, friends who left, and friends who were never really friends.

And if everything turns out to be so damn dramatic for me, how can I even dream of being compatible with anyone? Plus, I think other zodiac signs are just too insensitive for the nurturing, emotional heart of a cancer.

So, I have given up on the whole idea of ever finding compatibility. I feel fortunate that I have found someone who loves me and puts up with my many mood swings, frequent breakdowns, and 24/7 clingy behavior. What more could I possibly need?

Cancers Are Just Hard To Date:

The truth is cancers are hard to date.

We are shy initially – so shy that the object of our affection ends up having no clue. Just like our mascot (the crab), we take some time to finally step out of our shell and express our actual personality.

You really need to be patient if you want to prove me wrong about my compatibility issues and date a fellow Cancerian.

We are hard to date, considering we are a sensitive water sign, and we perpetually hate conflict. Oh, also, passive aggression is just normal when we are really upset with anyone or anything (and it happens on most days).

Moreover, cancers will also expect you to read what’s going on inside their heads. But now, that’s not possible, is it? The only solution is to keep all channels of communication open in the relationship.

So, tell me, will you date a Cancer? They are pretty hard to date – but they are good at the ‘love’ part (really good!)
